Right to safety on road needs to be fundamental right.

Safety on road should be a fundamental right as we are having 1.5 lacs deaths on Indian roads and loss of about app. 2 lacs Crore which is a very big dent on Indian Economy and Socionomy, happens every year in India.
The number of casualties who escape death but become dependent is quite larger in number.
we are allowing vehicles to be on road without air bag or with one air bag and belts which are provided on back seats to make a formalites without of any use.
This is serious state of affairs in India need to be focused for sustainable development in India.
Even Manufacturers are giving higher level security features in top end vehicle only which is priced quite higher than base model.
Now time has come we need to define safety clearly and differentiate with Luxery.
Why Manufacturers are not offering all safety features in base model or base with optional all safety features.
Luxery should start after safety is covered in base model and optional base model.
The manufactures and users now needs to realize responsibility of safety on road.
